SCWD’s video, “A Tale as Old as Time” will be the opening video at the WEFTEC Interactive Knowledge Exchange Public Outreach presentation at the New Orleans Convention Center! It is a fun video designed to educate the public on why we should drink tap water. The “Tale as Old as Time” tells the story of bottled water and how it has infiltrated our lives. It encourages people to Take Back the Tap.
The District was one of the 13 videos selected to be screened at the event this year. Other videos include Central Contra Costa Sanitary District, DS Hydro Consultants Inc, South Washington Watershed District, City of San Luis Obispo, Inland Empire Utilities Agency, King County Wastewater Treatment Division, Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, Orange County Water District, Cleveland Water Alliance, and Great Lakes Observing System GLOS.
