Congratulations to Tom and Kay Kelley of Dana Point, winners of South Coast Water District's June 2017 Water Saver of the Month Award.
The Kelleys removed approximately 4,334 square feet of turf and replaced it with a drought-tolerant garden with drip irrigation system and a backyard patio.
The water-wise landscape makeover is expected to save approximately 186,362 gallons of potable water per year.
The Water Saver of the Month Award recognizes District customers who have made a tangible contribution to conserving potable water. Winners receive $500.
